The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will retake of the “Gha” unit entrance exam on November 16.
Only the 18,463 students who obtained the pass marks in the test held on October 12 amid allegations of question paper leakage can seat for the exam, reports BSS.
Authority issued the fresh date on Friday evening at its website saying “This exam will be held under ‘conventional method”. On the day, hour-long entrance test will be held on DU campus from 3:00 pm to 4:00pm.
Earlier on October 23, the decision of retaking the test was taken at an emergency meeting of Dean’s committee held at the vice-chancellor’s (VC) office with DU VC Prof Akhtaruzzaman in the chair.
The DU authorities published the results of “Gha” unit entry test on October 16 where around 26.21percent admission seekers obtained pass marks.
A total of 70,440 candidates took part in the exam against 1,615 seats.
