Seven people have been arrested in connection with kidnapping and various other crimes under the guise of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members.
On Monday morning, this information was provided by RAB in a message via mobile phone to the media. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested seven people in the capital’s Kawla area.
RAB says arrestees are active members of an organised crime cell. They have seized arms, bullets, RAB jackets, handcuffs, walkie-talkies and microbuses marked with RAB stickers.
The identity of seven arrested persons was not disclosed. When they were arrested, RAB did not tell. RAB will provide detailed information in a press release.
