Since its inception, 200 meters of Manik Mia Avenue road in front of the Parliament Building, is kept free from car from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on every Friday aiming to allocate a space for children to play on the city road under the sky.
Marking the first year anniversary of the initiative, the DTCA and Surf Excel, a brand of Unilever Bangladesh, in association with Dhaka Metropolitan Police, would hold a daylong event for the children of Dhaka city at Manik Mia Avenue.
Surf Excel will feature a handful of activities to make the children’s participation more rewarding.
