Failing to raise a movement, the BNP is now riding on the back of quota reform protests by the students and job seekers, says Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.
Speaking to the media at his offices on Monday, he said that there were no uncertainties over the issue as a committee has been formed. “The committee has held its first meeting. It has decided to collect information from various sources worldwide… it’s a complex and complicated issue and a solution can’t be expected suddenly,” said Road Trans-port Minister Quader. Urging the protesters to have patience, he said, “The prime minister has taken a decision, formed a highly-powered committee, which has started to work. I would ask all to wait. The prime minister keeps her word.”
