Out of 20,000 MW power install capacity, the Independent Power Producers (IPP) has contributed 47 percent power alone, said Bangladesh Independent Power Producers’ Association (BIPPA) President Mohammad Latif Khan said.
He came up with this discloser at BIPPA third Annual General Meeting held at a city hotel.
“I’m giving thanks to government for allowing us to work with it,” Latif Khan said.
BIPPA formed in 2015, a trade organisation is now representing fifty Independent Power Producers (IPPs) across the country. BIPPA is committed to sustainable production and uninterrupted distribution of electricity, an essential service for the nation’s progress and development.
