Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Tuesday recovered a foreign pistol and 30 bottles of phensedyl from the Rajshahi border.
BGB-1 commanding officer Tajul Islam confirmed the matter, adding that members of BGB were patrolling 10 no. Padmar Char and Bathanbari areas.
At that time, a group of smugglers managed to flee the scene leaving a foreign pistol and 30 bottles of phensedyl behind, sensing the presence of law enforcers.
“BGB team later recovered the items from the spot,” said Tajul Islam.
