After a thumping victory over Pakistan, high flying Bangladesh take on Nepal in a battle of group supremacy in the SAFFU-18 Women’s Championship scheduled to be held on tomorrow Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.The match kicks off at 7 pm (BST). Bangladesh women’s football registered the massive victory in their first match of the SAFF Women’s U-18 Championship by 17-0 goals against Pakistan on Sunday. The massive victory against Pakistan, which is a record for Bangladesh football at any level senior or age group catapulted them into the semifinals and put them ahead of Nepal on goal difference on top of Group B. Bangladesh got +3 points into a game. Nepal had beaten Pakistan 12-0 in the first match of the championship on Friday. Bangladesh will go into their group deciding match against Nepal today full of confidence and with a superior goal-margin. After the group phase matches, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals to be held on October 5 while the final is slated on October 7. All the matches will be held at the same venue. In the first match Siraj Jahan Shopna made double hat-trick scoring seven goals while Marzia also made hat-tricks scoring four goals.
