The first T20I of 4-match series between Bangladesh Women and Pakistan Women has been abandoned due to bad weather and wet outfield at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar.
Second match of the series will be held today (Wednesday) at the same venue.
Skipper Salma Khatun and her team will be looking to continue their recent brilliant run of form. Bangladesh won the ACC Women’s Asia Cup in June which was
followed by the series win in the Netherlands.
Tigresses also booked their place in the ICC World T20 which is scheduled to be held in November at the Caribbean island.
The series against Pakistan is also the lead up to the preparation
for the upcoming ICC World
T20 assignment in the West
Indies.
