Bank Asia Limited has been a pioneer in providing innovative and technology driven banking services for its customers.
On wake of that, the bank recently executed an agreement with INPAY, a global payments network with a view to providing online money transfer services to Bangladeshi remitters residing in major European countries.
Stan Cole, regional director of INPAY and ABM Kamrul Huda Azad, CEO of B A Exchange UK Limited, a subsidiary of the bank, signed and exchanged the agreements on behalf of their respective companies. A. Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of Board of Directors, Bank Asia Limited was present on the occasion. Md. Arfan Ali, president & managing director of Bank Asia was also present on the occasion. He said that by availing this new service, non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) will be able to send remittance to their near and dear once back very easily while staying at home or anywhere, anytime. It will be a safer, faster, and secure way for sending money from across the Europe.
Primarily, this service will be available from eight European countries like Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden. Gradually more countries will be covered under this online money transfer service.
Mohammad Borhanuddin, deputy managing director (DMD) and COO, Mohammad Ziaul Hasan Molla, deputy managing director along with other high officials of the bank were present in the programme.
