Bangladesh has been recognised for its success in financial literacy generation among 160 countries worldwide. The recognition was given at a grand ceremony jointly organised by Argentine Presidency, GPFI Forum, G20 and Child & Youth Financial International.
Bangladesh has been appreciated and achieved special recognition in the Global Inclusion Award, an initiative of CYFI. Dr. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family in the invitation of Argentine Presidency, Ministry of Treasury of Argentina, G20, GPFI Forum, CYFI received the award on Tuesday at the programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, said a press release. Bram Van Meiji-Director CYFI handed over the Global Inclusion Award for Bangladesh to Dr. Md. Sabur Khan where Ms. Lubna Shaban, Co-Director CYFI was also present.
Leaders from 160 countries and different international organisations and associations took part in the event. Bangladesh for the third time achieved this recognition. Earlier, Bangladesh got recognition in the Houses of Lords in London and Meistersaal in Germany.
