Renowned Bangladeshi actor Amirul Haque Chowdhury, who is simultaneously popular on both small and big screens, was honoured with three awards by multiple organisations in Los Angeles, United States of America (USA) in a recent visit. Los Angeles-based three organisations, Bangladesh Association of Los Angles (BALA), ‘Ei To Amra’ and district congressman Brad Sherman honoured the veteran actor for his contribution in the field of theatre and culture.
BALA honoured Amirul Haque Chowdhury and made him a lifetime member of the organisation after the screening. At the same time, the organization, Ei To Amra, honoured the actor with ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.
Later, the actor was honoured by the Congressmen of Los Angeles, and received the honourary certificate from Congressman Brad Sherman in the Congressman’s office.
Upon receiving three awards on the same day, Amirul Haque Chowdhury said, “This was one of the proudest and special moments of my life. I had become so emotional at the time that I could not utter any word in that time. I seek blessing from everyone so the Allah almighty keeps me in good health. Also, I am grateful to all associated with me in my long journey.”
After returning to Bangladesh, the actor is passing a busy time with his ongoing drama serial projects aired on various satellite channels.
