A total of 78 digital campaigns were rewarded with digital marketing award through a grand award gala in Dhaka recently.
Digital Marketing Award 2018, an initiative of Bangladesh Brand Forum, was presented by Meghna Group of Industries. The award gala was attended by 500 digital marketing enthusiasts.
The awards were given across 16 categories in three ranks – Grand Prix, Gold and Silver. The event was powered by Content Matters, said a press release.
Grand Prix for the Best Integrated Digital Campaign was won by Analyzen & Mindshare for their campaign Lux Super Star 2018. This campaign also won two more gold prizes in separate categories.
The highest number of awards (4 gold) for a single campaign was won by X, for their campaign Robi Bijoy Itihash. Coca-Cola Nikhoj Shobder Khoje by Grey Advertising Bangladesh won three gold awards, second highest for a single campaign, along with Lux Super Star 2018.
The highest number of awards by a single agency was won by Analyzen – 15 awards individually and 3 awards jointly with Mindshare. Starcom Bangladesh won two awards for their special project of Zakat Calculator.
Md Mohiuddin, General Manager, Brands, Meghna Group of Industries spoke at the event.
Shariful Islam, Founder & MD of Bangladesh Brand Forum inaugurated the summit. He said, “Digital is going to make or break any brand. We are just scratching the surface of broader digital echo system. Through Digital Marketing Summit, we are trying to share different perspective from around the world and raise some question in everyone’s mind which will be the only way to figure out this new phenomenon.” Asif Iqbal, Executive Director, Marketing, Meghna Group of Industries, also spoke at the event.
