Bodies of four people, who died in separate incidents in the capital, were sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue on Wednesday.
An unidentified youth, aged around 25, electrocuted to death while stealing at Dakshin Khan area, said Asaduzzaman, Sub Inspector (SI) of Dakshin Khan police station.
The SI said that a pedestrian rushed him to the DMCH in the morning where the on duty doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Falu Hossain Faruk, 40, of Mohammadpur area, was declared dead at the DMCH at about 3:00 am after taking him from Dhaka Central Jail. Falu was an accused in a drug case filed with Mohammadpur police station, said the jail sources. On the other hand, 30-year-old Swapon was found hanging from ceiling fan of his room in North Jatrabari area. He was declared dead at a hospital at about 2:00 pm. Swapon is son of Siraj Miah of Sonargaon upazila in Narayanganj. Police recovered the body of a 25-year-old man from Litchi garden of East Nakhal of Tejgaon Industrial area.
The deceased was identified as Samresh Madhu, an employee of Navana Group and son of Arjun Madhu of Agailjhara upazila in Barishal.
