At least three people were killed in two separate road accidents in Naogaon and Gopalganj on Thursday.
In Naogaon, the two people were killed when a bus rammed a human hauler at Deluabari Bus Stand in Manda upazila of the district in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Taslim Uddin, 45, son of Lalmon Pramanik and Azizul Islam, 40, son of Lahir Uddin of Satoil village of the upazila. Officer-in-Charge of Manda Police Station Mahbub Alam said that the accident took place at about 11:00 am when a Naogaon-bound bus of ‘Nibir Paribahan’ hit the human hauler, leaving two people killed on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital for autopsy.
In Gopalganj, a minor boy was killed as a microbus crushed him on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Ghonapara area under Sadar upazila at noon.
The deceased was identified as Shium Sheikh, 11, son of Selon Sheikh of Gobra Dakhinpara village of the upazila. He was a class-five student.

Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Thana Monirul Islam confirmed the matter.
