Chattogram University (CU) is set to reopen its doors for physical classes and examinations, following a temporary closure due to the scorching heatwave. The decision was taken at a meeting convened by university deans and attended by including Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher and Pro VC (Administration) Professor Dr. Sekander Chowdhury.

Speaking on the matter, CU Pro VC (Administration) Professor Dr. Sekander Chowdhury highlighted the university's response to the prevailing heatwave across the nation. Considering the adverse weather conditions, the authorities deemed it appropriate to resume academic activities from April 30 onwards.

This decision brings relief to students and faculty members who had been awaiting the resumption of regular classes and examinations. With safety mesures in place to mitigate the effects of the heat, CU aims to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.

The university urges students to adhere to the guidelines provided and to prioritize their well-being during this period of heatwave.

As CU opens its gates once again, it reaffirms its commitment to providing quality education while prioritizing the health and safety of its community.
