‘Loving the people, Rabindranath Tagore left the title of knighthood given by the British government in protest of the Jallianwala Bagh murder, just as Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did not compromise with the Pakistani rulers on the establishment of Bengali rights and liberation by standing in front of the lame grave for himself’, he added.
